Knowing Him

In a world that is unimaginably broken, imperfect, and full of suffering,  A Savior will return to rescue His people.  He has purchased them with His blood.  He has prepared a place for them to live forever.  And He will come back.  In the meantime, they wait.  Living in relationship with Him.  Living in relationship with one another.  Living, waiting for His return.  They work.  Serving Him, because they love Him.  Serving one another as their Savior served them.  Serving, working for His glory.  And they want.  Suffering, because of their sin.  Suffering, because of the brokenness in this world.  Suffering, wanting Him to make all things new.  One day, their existence will be perfection.  Not now.  But maybe soon.  Maybe today.  When He returns.
